Once upon a time, a crow was very thirsty. It flew here and there in search of water. But it could not find water anywhere. At last, it saw a pitcher under a tree. It flew down and looked inside the pitcher. There was a little water at the bottom. But the water was too low for the crow to reach.

The crow became very disappointed. However, it did not lose hope. It looked around and found some small stones lying nearby. Suddenly, an idea came to its mind. It picked up the stones one by one and dropped them into the pitcher. As a result, the water level began to rise slowly.

The crow continued its work patiently. After some time, the water came up to the mouth of the pitcher. The crow could now easily drink the water. It drank the water and flew away happily.
